In this component of the application, we will ask for contact information, demographics, employment status and current residency information. Applicants will have the opportunity to respond to an optional question regarding prior experience with the TFA Appalachia geographic region.
For applicants applying through the Relocation track, we ask a series of questions regarding specifics and preferences for relocation (relocating household size, geographic preferences, etc)

Applicants will upload responses to three personal statements in the application process. Responses can be uploaded either as written statements or video recordings. Written responses should be no more than 500 words each and video responses should be no more than 4 minutes long for each of the below personal statement prompts.
At TFA Appalachia, we are pursuing a bold 2030 goal: By 2030, twice as many students in Central Appalachian communities will achieve postsecondary readiness and success, indicating that they are on a path to economic mobility and a future filled with possibility. Given your identities, personal and professional experiences, strengths, perspectives, and skill sets: how might you contribute to the pursuit of TFA Appalachia’s 2030 goal in the communities where you live and work?
Take some time to read and reflect on TFA’s Commitment to Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion. How do you think this commitment is relevant to living, working, and leading in TFA Appalachia’s geographic region, specifically?
How might participating in the Lab be beneficial to your development as a leader at this exact point in your leadership trajectory?

For each professional role, please include: employer name, period of employment, title or position, a description of key responsibilities, and any notable impact, accomplishments, goals, or awards.

Applicants will be asked to share contact information for two professional references. For each reference, please provide the reference first and last name, email address, phone number, current title and organization, and a brief explanation of your professional relationship.
